SUMMARY:The consultant's vulnerability as success factor in organizational change - Mayke Wagner-Froböse
DESCRIPTION:The consultant’s vulnerability is rarely considered a success factor for organizational change processes. On the contrary\, the client often expects the external consultant to have a grip on the process and to provide security and stability particularly when the client is facing uncertainty anyway due to the change process. We will explore the idea that conveying security and stability and the willingness to utilize one’s own vulnerability are not contradictory. The 202 aims to increase the participants’ awareness of their own vulnerability\, to welcome this experience of being vulnerable and to understand the potential of it. \nThis event is targeted at all practitioners of all levels in the organisational field. (20 spaces only) \nMayke Wagner-Froboise is a TSTA in the organizational field\, based in Germany. In addition to her TA trainings\, she is a self-employed organizational consultant combining a relational and a systemic approach. As coach\, team developer\, or organizational consultant\, she focusses on intra- and interpersonal dynamics as she considers these crucial for the success of every change.

SUMMARY:Being the therapist of therapists - Dr. Sue Eusden
DESCRIPTION:This two-hour workshop will explore being the therapist of therapists\, from working with trainees to those fully qualified. The overlapping of professional worlds and identities can bring ethical disorientation as well as edges of privilege and discrimination. How is working with trainees/therapists as clients similar and/or different to working with other clients? What are the challenges and skills needed? We will expand on these themes and draw on case studies and the experiences of participants to consider how to help those who help others. \nThis event is primarily aimed at Qualified and Advanced Practitioners from the Psychotherapy field. \nDr. Sue Eusden\, MA\, D.Psych\, is a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (psychotherapy) and a UKCP registered psychotherapist and supervisor. She maintains a private psychotherapy practice and teaches in different institutes both in UK and abroad. She has published several articles and book chapters on transactional analysis and ethics and is currently in the process of writing a book\, rooted in her doctorate\, on the experiences of asking for help. Her website is www.askingforhelp.co.uk

SUMMARY:Offering Support in a War Zone Stabilisation and Resourcing
DESCRIPTION:When the stress is not ‘post-traumatic’ but current and ongoing\, the usual approaches to trauma therapy are not appropriate. In this brief workshop we will offer some models to help participants and their clients understand what might be going on for them in overwhelmingly stressful situations and Andri will introduce some simple but effective exercises to help people stay stable enough under stress to carry on as resourcefully as possible. \nThe theory will be ‘light touch’ as we want to keep it simple and practical. As Andri says\, we want you ‘to be able to turn this around and make use of it now without having to think too hard about new language and new concepts’. \nFacilitated by: \nAndri White is a psychotherapist\, supervisor and trainer in Hertfordshire UK. She started her training in 1990 as a couple’s counsellor and has been training in various methods of psychotherapy since then. She has been working in the field of trauma for more than 15 years. She has an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from Metanoia\, completed Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Parts I & II (SPTI)\, and is an accredited EMDR practitioner. \nCharlotte Sills is a psychotherapist\, coach and supervisor as well as a TSTA (P) in London\, UK. She has done training in EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and is interested in developing more ways of using transactional analysis to work with trauma. \nFee: £15.00 All profits will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee. \nN.B. Practitioners who are already working as volunteers with Ukrainian clients – free of charge. In this case\, please contact Nikitta at info@relationalta.com to register.
