This workshop offers opportunity to explore the transferential relationship through the perspectives of Oppression, Alienation, and Reclamation. Drawing on our personal stories and readings from her book, (Radical-Relational Perspectives in TA Psychotherapy to be available from the 21st of September 2023), there will be opportunity to illustrate, explore and deconstruct dynamics through our discussions with each other.

Karen Minikin is a psychotherapist, supervisor, and trainer (TSTA (P)) currently working in West Somerset and Devon. She draws on history with personal life experience and uses this in relating to help integrate the psychodynamics of politics and power within a relational framework. She has written on these themes in chapters to books and articles and is expecting her book: Radical-Relational Perspectives in TA Psychotherapy to be available from the 21st of September 2023.

This group is targeted at practitioners from the psychotherapy field, although others may find the event useful.
