The consultant’s vulnerability as success factor in organizational change – Mayke Wagner-Froböse

The consultant’s vulnerability is rarely considered a success factor for organizational change processes. On the contrary, the client often expects the external consultant to have a grip on the process and to provide security and stability particularly when the client is facing uncertainty anyway due to the change process. We will explore the idea that conveying security and stability and the willingness to utilize one’s own vulnerability are not contradictory. The 202 aims to increase the participants’ awareness of their own vulnerability, to welcome this experience of being vulnerable and to understand the potential of it.
This event is targeted at all practitioners of all levels in the organisational field. (20 spaces only)
